Three Sisters

we are three sisters

three sisters we are

I love you

and you love me

now we’re together rarely

life keeps us apart

it doesn’t mean to say

we’re not in each others hearts

we’ve shared our troubles

many ups and downs

but we’ve always got through

because we’re more than a double

we”ll never forget the good times we’ve shared

we might worry, argue and fret

and again these we’ll never forget

we’ve been blessed with something special you see

we are more than a double

we have the hearts of three

we are three sisters

three sisters we are

This post is for my daughter for when she’s old enough to read. I hope it fills your heart with love, comfort, delight and joy just as she does me.

Letter For Summer 2-6-13

You’re my precious angel, sent from up above.

Someone to hold, someone to love.

I cannot wait to hold you, have you in my arms.

I’ll keep you warm, I’ll keep you safe.

I’ll dry your tears, kiss away your fears.

I’ll love your drawings, they’ll be works of art.

I’ll clap when you sing, right from the start.

We’ll cosy up and cuddle, read your favourite books.

We’ll bake cakes together, have sprinkles of fun.

I’ll probably cry on your first day of school.

I’ll be at every play, pick you up if you fall.

I can’t wait to meet you and watch you grow.

I’ll help you and teach you all that I know.

I’ll be there in good times and help you through bad.

We’ll be happy together, laugh together and cry together.

I’ll always be there, right by your side.

I’ll help you and love you, do the best that I can.

I can’t wait to wrap my arms around you.

Every minute that I can.

I’ll be there to kiss you good morning, I’ll be there to kiss you goodnight.

I’ll love you forever, if that’s alright?

Love Recipe

A pinch of me

A pinch of you

A cup of our future

And everything we’ll do

A spoon or two of loyalty

With a little dash of trust

A sprinkle of forgiveness

And laughter a must

A smile, a kiss

Two heart and a wish

To be sieved together

Hand in hand

With love and pride

Between woman and man

Two life’s now sweetly

Combined in one

Warm through gently

And serve at once!
